hello everyone,
I have been in melbourne for a few days now. It's been really gud up to now, it's much more laid back than sydney and it's more cosmopolitan!! The night life is much better than sydney to, there is more of a underground house scene (not commercial music) which is up my street!
alice springs was really gud, my outback experience was amazing the best trip i have been on since being in aus. We drove for 5 hrs across the outback, there was nothing around for hundreds and hundreds of kilometres!! to my surprise it was much greener and more colourful for dessert than i was expecting, this is due to the large amount of rainfull they have each year.
Our first stop was king canyon it was awesome, amazing rock faces and a great 3hr scenic walk around the whole area.we then collected some fire wood, made camp, a fire and slept under the stars in our sleeping bags. the 2nd day we went to see ayers rock known as uluru! i didn't fancy climbing it as i didn't want to disrespect the aboriginals. i walked around it instead, 8km all the way around. it's so different to all the photo's when it's right infront of u, it's so unique!!
3rd day we went to kata tjuta it was another amazing site, with much more to see than ayers rock. again loads of history and amazing rock faces and views!
can't believe it's my bday 2moz, i'll be 25 wihooo! Been invited to a house party 2nite, they want me to dj and have a few other dj's playing, should be fun. I missed a set in the biggest club around here, slept right through my alarm lat night, can't believe it!! nevermind!!
take care all, will add my photo's when i get to new zealand on sun/mon time!!
love jimmy
