12kms after leaving Eucla we were in South Australia, we have been in WA for about 2 mths. Penong is a very small town in a large wheat area. The town consists of a small IGA store, pub, petrol station, footy ground, post office & newsagent and another hole of the Nullabor golf course.

The manager of the park has been running the park for about 9mths and is leaving in about November to continue his travels around Australia, he said that the community is very friendly, so you never know where we may end up at the end of the year.
