THE BESTEST THING WE DID ON OUR HOLIDAY

Aged thirty something

This summer Donna and me went to Bali for our holiday and we went to Waterbom which is a big waterpark with lots of slides and things. It is meant to be the best waterpark in the whole of Asia but only the third best waterpark in the whole wide world which isn't really good enough.

Donna and me had lots of fun going on all the rides and in the lazy river where you sit on a rubber ring and the current pushes you along a river through the jungle.

Donna's favourite bit was going on the slide called the boomerang where you are in a big giant ring with both of us in it and then it goes down and then up then down then up a bit then down again. It is very exciting. I liked this ride a lot as well.

I was really brave and went on all of the big scary rides even the ones where it starts by putting you in a coffin like capsule. Then a voice says 3-2-1 and then when it gets to zero the bottom of the capsule drops away so that you fall down and that is how you start on the slide. They only had this on the big scary ride.

I didn't like the bit where the nasty woman said I couldn't go on one of the rides because I had a rivet in my shorts which would damage the ride. I don't know what a rivet is. I thought this meant that I wouldn't be able to go on the rides and was very sad but then Donna was very clever and said that I should go to the big shopping centre opposite the waterpark and buy some new shorts. I did this and bought some new shorts. They are very good because they have the name of beer on them. Then I could go on all the rides.

When we went to Waterbom it was the bestest thing that we did on our holiday. I would like to go back there very much or maybe we can try the best waterpark in the world next time.
