One of the softest landings possible. Nice to see so many Passport Control desks and all of them manned. It made going through passport control so easy and quick. Picked up our bags and easily got a taxi to hotel - 32 AED so about £8.
The Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is a 5* hotel and very hospitable and comfortable. Our room was upgraded from a triple room to a full duplex apartment with amazing downtown views. Upstairs and downstairs with 2 beds, full kitchen and office facilities, downstairs toilet and a full size bath and shower room upstairs. Don't know what to do with all the space. Go for a cocktail upstairs on the roof terrace bar where there is a 1 lane 20 meter pool with the end hanging over the 7 story atrium with a glass bottom.... A must for a swim before we leave. Weather this evening was a very pleasant 22 degrees. 12.30am here now so time for some shut eye.
