On Wednesday Georgia and I went with nearly all the staff to an area of the bush they wanted to clear for breakfast and sundowners in the bush. First we had to cut the area back with machetes, then pile up the trees to be burnt. We then had to remove the big rocks and move them to then level out the area for tables. I woke early with Eli an American guy and Cynthia a French women to go to Ngong hills to hike. Ngong in Swahili means knuckle because this is the shape of the trail.
