Melbourne

Day 1 - Went out to a gig at The Esplanade with a guy who was in my dorm, band were really good but I was pretty tired from all the travelling. Got a massage from a German girl in my room. Was really good as I was pretty achey!

Day 2 - Found out the bank had stopped my money - only had $200 to my name. Went out to Queen Victoria Markets, brought a couple of bits. Went to see St Kilda beach, sat on the front for a while and updated my travel journal! There was a pub quiz in the evening, and me and Seriana did that with some people we met. it was good fun and I went out clubbing afterward. I felt really old though but I was probably one of the youngest!

Day 3 - Posted ANOTHER box to Brisbane. I have way too much stuff. I went into the City and did a little tour of all the laneways, it was really good and found an all you can eat buffet! ($7) go me. - I am putting on so much weight! Free BBQ at the hostel so I ate with the guys we did the quiz with the night before, and brought a bottle of wine.

Day 4 - Went on Neighbours tour, waste of money i think! Came back to the hostel, met up with Seriana, went to St Kilda Beach, The Observation Deck and the Aquarium. Came back to the hostel, (Ladies Night) and we got a free bottle of champagne, and I brought so more wine. Wayy to much to drink!

Day 5 - I had a walk around St Kilda with one of the guys I had met at the hostel, got picked up at 3 by one of the contacts I had in Melbourne. Got settled in at his place and then went for Fish and Chips on the beach with him and his partner - It was YUMM

Day 6 - I went for a bike ride with Ian along Williamstown - realised how unfit I am, but the wind pushed me on the way back. Ian took me to the footie (Aussie Rules) in the evening. it was really good fun! The atmosphere was brilliant but the team we were supporting lost...Oh well. we sang the oppositions song at the end! haha

Day 7 - Drove to have a picnic at (yan yin) resivouir. (can't spell it) and went to look at some show homes in a new suburb! wow!! I took loads of pictures! haha, after the picnic, we drove through the bush fires. it was horrible, you saw people living in tents trying to rebuild their house. had a roast in the evening - yumm

Day 8 - Got a lift back to the hostel in a Police car! woo. went into the city, on the free tram, had a look at the casino, came back and I am meeting Shyla for a drink soon

Leave at 6.30 tomorrow for Adelaide! really looking forward to it
