We've arrived in Aarhus and camping 5k out of the city, right on the coast surrounded by the Marselisborg forest and nature reserve. It's beautiful! Boys have already been in the sea and we are here now for 4 days. Can't wait to explore Aarhus!

Today we catch the Catamaran ferry for a 75 min crossing over to central Jutland and to Aarhus- European Capital of Culture 2017! So excited to visit here. We decided to shorten our time in Holland so we could spend more time in Denmark. Yesterday we visited the Viking museum in Roskilde. We've arrived in Denmark after getting the ferry from Puttsgarten to Rodby. An easy 45 minute crossing on the ferry. We've stopped in Roskilde, home of the Vikings, at a very pleasant campsite by the Fjord. The boys and I went swimming in the Fjord, so fresh! Today we leave Hamburg, ready for the ferry and drive into Denmark. It seems everywhere we go, Oscar finds another 'Oscar'! Having driven through Holland and roughly 300 miles , we've made it to Hamburg! I've been hearing lots about this city... culturally it's meant to be great!
