Today we catch the Catamaran ferry for a 75 min crossing over to central Jutland and to Aarhus- European Capital of Culture 2017! So excited to visit here. We decided to shorten our time in Holland so we could spend more time in Denmark. Yesterday we visited the Viking museum in Roskilde. Great workshops for the kids to take part in, from making their own Viking necklaces to rope and boat making. The restaurant even served Nordic food with a Viking twist.. lots of dried berries and herbs, with fish and meat. Everything so stylish and hygge! Even the campsite's washing up and kitchen area was designed beautifully, I had to take a pic!
