Today we leave Hamburg, ready for the ferry and drive into Denmark. It seems everywhere we go, Oscar finds another 'Oscar'! The boys have loved playing with their German camping buddies, Oscar and his brother Peggar. After a few games of hide and seek, we lost all of them in the woods!
Yesterday we went on a boat ride around the port, But the tour guide was in German so we didn't have a clue what we were looking at! Still, it was relaxing. We then headed to Planten Un Blomen, a fab city park, with Japanese and Rose gardens. The play area for the kids was brilliant. Water slides and paddling pools to play in which the boys loved and a nice cafe selling beers (which we loved!)
We'd like to return to Hamburg, perhaps sans kids, so we can enjoy the bars and music. The Reeperbahn festival in September looks ace! Driving through Reeperbahn and the red light district during the daytime, you get a bit of a glimpse into the area..
