On our way back after such a fantastic adventure, making memories. It seems we have packed lots in and we are still smiling after sleeping in such close quarters for over 2 weeks! We hope to do it again in another part of Europe and for much longer! So glad we've been able to give the boys the experience of free travel around a bit of Europe. Here's hoping the ridiculous Brexit decision doesn't hinder future travel plans for us all too much. Our favourite moments...

We've stopped in Amsterdam! We're all excited to be here. Think this is my favourite city. The boys had a day with ollie at the maritime museum, whilst I cycled in to the city to see an exhibition at the Moco museum. The boys had a great time exploring the boats and ship, learning about life on a ship and whales as sea monsters. They tell me it was excellent. We've spent a lot of time at Vondel Park, lovely city centre green space, Heron spotting and just soaking...

We've stopped off in Bremen overnight so to break up the long journey back to Holland! No time to explore the city but it looks like there's lots to see and do here. We are camping by a lake, not far from the centre. The boys and I had a dip! Getting used to wild swimming. The campsite has a nudist section too, but don't think I'll be taking a dip there. It's hot and sunny still, looking forward to the drive to Holland and the Dutch scenery tomorrow.

We surprised the boys with a trip to Legoland... they were so excited! The journey from Aarhus to Billund is an hour and there's campsite opposite Legoland, which we are staying on overnight. After 8 hours at Legoland, we are chilling in the van before setting off tomorrow for a long journey back to Holland. Would definitely recommend a pilgrimage to Legoland.. glad we made it happen for the boys

Last day/eve in Aarhus being culture vultures! What a fab place it is. So much to see and do. It's supposed to be the happiest city in the world's happiest country, I can see why! Everyone friendly and there is a real buzz in the city with it being the European Capital of Culture 2017. All of the museums and events are free for under 18's too. Food can be expensive but most of the cafes and deli's offer brunch deals, which are a good option. Aarhus Street Food is...
