We got to Penang early Friday morning and met my family friend Jennifer at the airport- Jennifer's family lived in Singapore with Dad's family when they were young and Grandma is still very close friends with Jennifer's Mum. The next day we got a flight to Langkawi - purely because we fancied a day lying on the beach! It is a beautiful Island just off Malaysia and only took 20 minutes to fly to! After only 5 days in hostels we checked ourselves in to a beach front hotel- we decided it was worth paying more to stay on the beach! We only stayed in Langkawi for two nights but it was nice to have a day on the beach sun tanning!

Kuala Lumpur We landed in KL at 9am (1am English time) and then had to figure out which trains to catch to get to the hostel-I'm dippy enough at working out where to go in England let alone in Malaysia, on about 2 hours sleep!
