Friday 26th February 2016 We had some breakfast at the free campsite and then headed west, inland to a place called a chillagoe which has loads of natural caves. The drive took 3 hours so we were quite a way inland and the soil became red, roads turned into travel tracks and we saw loads of signs warning about road trains. Wednesday 24th In the morning we set off towards STA travel to book our scuba diving at the barrier reef, because it was STILL raining we decided it would be better to delay the scuba for a few days. Monday 22nd February 2016 We woke up in the free campsite, had a shower and paid our $2 donation. The drive back down towards Port Douglas was nicer as we could see where we were going and were able to enjoy the view. Saturday 20th Mission beach, the dream! We got up early so we weren't caught camping slightly illegally and set off to mission beach. On the way we stopped off and ate our breakfast with a view over the sea, it was beautifully calm and on such a hot day it was very inviting, this was until we saw the 'do not feed the crocodiles' signs.
