Travelling from Sydney to Mebourne in the 'Spaceship' was a good laugh. Mike provided us with constant supply of musical entertainment from his ipod and Ed kept us laughing most of the way there. It took us a couple of nights to travel down there. the first night we spent it a little place called Jervis Bay. We managed to find a spot right by the beach. Mike cooked us dinner (tuna pasta) using the camp stove and we spent the rest of the evening drinking, dancing, singing and trying to get the best 4-way handstand pose while the camera was set to self-timer. Hilarious. We also got to met a group of local 'youths' who kindly showed us the infamous Melbourne Shuffle which in our opinion is quite a shocking dance move/break dance move which was really funny to watch!
Next day, we 'ate some more miles' as Ed would say, and after a full day of driving decided to stop at a really small town called Cape Conran. Once again we camped right on the beach and had a BBQ for dinner that night. We saw a Kookaburra and an Emu but that was about it! still yet to view our first wild Roo and Koala... we were always on the look out and there were dead animals on the side of the road but they didnt really count (we decided!).
