Hello again,

Very sorry it has taken us soooooo long to get back blogging but we really havent had a chance, and if we have there has been a storm to knock all the internet and phones out (cape trib, grrrrrr you'll here more about this idylic rainforest getaway later on)!!

So here goes im trying to remember back a couple of weeks now to Brisbane. We only had a couple of days there but it was alot of fun and probably the messiest couple of days we have had so far.

The first day we had there we shopped quite literally till we dropped, we all came back with something, mainly jen thinking that it was a awsome idea to buy 4 yes 4 pairs of flip flops (they are awsome tho). I think one of our favourite buys were custom made havaianas, we got to choose the colour of the base and the colour of the thong bit then they made them right there in front of you.... how awsome is that!

On the second day we decided to go to Australia Zoo, the home of the crocodile hunter....... quite literally because he is still all over the place in quite a wierd way!! We all thought it was a bit wierd the way that he still introduced the crocodile show. Another slightly worrying part was the way that they market Bindi, she has Bindi everything and has even done a fitness video called 'bindi and the crocodile men (bout 5 big strong Aussies prancing about in the back ground)', v strange but hey we enjoyed the Kangaroos, stroking a Koala and we even saw a tasmanian devil.......woooo!!!

The nights in Brisbane were messy and they both had a common link...... Laura!!! The first night it was laura and steph that carried on while the others went to bed and the second night Laura and Annie thought it would be a good idea to stay out a bit longer.......big mistake!!! Got up and went to get our oz experience bus and oooops we had missed the chuffer (not entirely our fault)!! So we had to go find another bus that went up to Hervey bay..... the most painful thing with a sore head and the constant threat of being sick!!! We managed it tho and made it there by 5, think we are fully fledged travellers of the world (our new job title) now and able to deal with anything thats thrown at us (touch wood)!!
