Last day of our trip! Up early although didn't get to bed until about 2am so both feeling tired this morning. Lady who owns the hotel is so lovely and let us print our boarding passes out for our flight so we were all organised. After breakfast we headed into the Old Town of Nice to explore the shops and visit the park on the hill. We didn't have too long before we needed to make our way to the airport. We decided to treat ourselves to a glass of champagne (left over euros to spend too ha ha) to celebrate our very last day away. Bit of reminiscing about the trip of course and then grabbed some pasta for lunch. Very wierd tasting bolognese tagliatelle so we didn't eat much and got an ice cream to help full us up. They had some unique ice cream flavours like cola, pins colada and mojoto. Fair to say we both played it safe! Went back to hotel to pick up the rucksacks for the last time and headed to the airport. Check in and everything was a breeze and got on the plane no trouble for a slightly early take off. We could easily see the difference between the standard of the inside of the plane from our first flight (Ryan Air) to this one (British Airways)! We were very sleepy and definitely looking forward to some home comforts (not that we have been slumming it at all)!!! We are sad to be leaving but we are excited to go home and share our adventures. Amazing experience and one never to be forgotten :-) Over and out!
