So we made it to Sydney, on the way in on the bus we came accross the harbour bridge and saw the opera house, but as soon as we'd checked into the hostel - yay we have our own room for 4 nights what novelty!!

So we headed straight back out after a shower and freshen up and went and got on an open top bus which showed us the city sights, such as the bridge and the opera house and hyde park and kings cross. Then in evening we met up with the girls in yet another Irish bar and had a few drinks and dinner there before heading back for a full nights sleep in a bed!

Yesterday we got up early and got on the open top bus to Bondi beach which when we got there we found a bit miserable as it was cold and rainy but it cleared up a bit as we wandered round the shops (bought a hoodie to keep me warm!) and watched the learner surfers all trying to surf as the waves weren't that great. We then headed back to the city and continued to shop for warmer clothing for NZ - i got some gloves and trainers. We then went up Sydney tower for a skyview of the city which was pretty disappointing as buildings blocked the opera house so you couldnt see that really, but it gave good views of the harbour and the boats.

We then went up to the Irish girls apartment in the posh part of town and had achinese takeaway with them as it was their last night in Australia - think we may be meeting up once more in NZ with them tho.

Today we had a massive lie in and then have come on ther ferry to Manly so we're mooching about here and here on the internet for the afternoon, think we're going to go to Darling harbour this evening.

The campervan is all booked now for NZ and we have some more warmer clothing (will it be enuff??) so all very excited about that!!
