The flight from Santiago to Sydney was fantastic.  Not only was my seating in 1J literally as close to the pointy end of the plane as you can get, but I had a delightful travelling companion Alex (also travelling through to Canberra) in 1K and he and I talked for so long that I only fitted in 2 movies as well as a pretty standard 3-4 hours sleep!All too soon we arrived after some excellent service thanks to attentive crew and even the baby in 1A was well behaved...

Not lost yet.But a few last words from my fast depleting time in Santiago.The Hiliday Inn at the airport here is great for sleeping. For 8 hours I didn't hear a thing - and I never sleep for 8 hours in one go (mainly because Knox's primary mission is to prevent that) and with no need to hurry out I successfully snuggled in my huge bed for a while.Then it was up and at the world. It was an early start today for me, with a 9.30 am flight out of Coca and a 2+ hour motorised canoe trip down river this meant that by 6.00 am I was packed, downed a quick coffee, goodbyes said, breakfast package collected and into a vehicle for the short trip to the river and ready to go.I know I have commented on it a bit, but I have had a delightful stay at Yachana and am extremely impressed with what Douglas and his team have happening here in the upper reach...
