Cairns - Waterfalls

The day after our dive trip we met up with Sophie and Holly who we had been living with in Perth, who were also in Cairns. We rented a car and headed out to the rainforests around Cairns. There are literally hundreds of waterfalls in the surrounding area so we spent the day touring around the different falls. They were spectacular! We even visited Milla Milla Falls which is where the herbal essences advert is filmed, it is also where Peter André filmed his music video for Mysterious Girl. We swam in the pool and went right under the fall and sat on the rocks underneath it. The water was absolutely freezing as it's constantly running but it was definitely worth it to get right under the falls. In total we visited 5 waterfalls and it was a really beautiful day. We said goodbye to Holly and Sophie for the last time as we wouldn't see them again until we are all back in England!
