So we returned from Fraser Island Sunday night (22nd), arriving back in Hervey Bay and then Monday afternoon it was off to 1770 - Agnes water for a night and day along with Heidi as well. We were only stopping here really to kill some time before our Sailing trip and it was lucky we only had one day really as it was a tiny town with not much to do. We had wanted to take a flight in one of those mini planes over to an island for the afternoon but it was fully booked so instead me, Hayley, and Heidi went on a nature walk with a very eccentric guy who, was lovely and interesting, but eventually became a bit much when his interesting conspiracy stories turned into tales of alien abductions! We learnt a bit about the plants, spider and ants along the way and he told us some interesting stories about his 'famous' clay. And we finished by having a clay face mask back at the hotel which left my skin feeling soft at least! Later last night though it was off again on an overnight coach to Airlie Beach where we now have nothing to do until Whitsunday's on Friday, so un-normal for us to be able to have a lay in and relax, so tonight I think a night out in Airlie may be in order...
