Had 2 fab days of Scuba fun in Nha -Trang!
I'm now an Advanced Diver and once I get my dive count up I can train for the rescue diver qualification! Over 2 days I had to complete loads of different dives including an advanced buoyancy dive, deep dive, night dive, navigation, photography, boat and sea entry dive and computer dive.On the deep dive I had to do some dive calculations to work out pressure groups etc ( I wont bore you with all the diving jargon!).Anyway I also had to do some of these written calulations at 30m depth (And yes the pen I was using on the white board was waterproof!!!).Anyway the normal thing to happen is that you complete the questions quicker on top of the water than below...not the Jensta- I completed them faster at 30m than the surface-I must be crazy hay!!!!!
The visibility was fantastic-Definately beats the cloudy 4mm visibility you get in England! There was loads of new fish to be seen.Of course I managed to photograph the lovely Nemo fish and also saw a sea snake, razor fish, butterfly fish, bat fish, parrot fish, band fish, cornet fish, banner fish......Loads to see and very colourful!
The night dive was very scary..We did it off the beach and loads of locals were watching! Looked quite strange I guess as we had on all our dive gear and were holding blazing bright torches...Then all of a sudden we vanished under the water!!! When we reappeared an hour later they were still there and we asked them "Is this Africa?!!"...They looked some what confused!!!
The crew on the boat were fantastic and very helpful and we had a great big lunch of chicken curry and fruits!
Bring on the diving in Thailand ...
Tonight we head north to a place called Hoi An..Its an over night bus so we arrive early next morning....
Love and hugs to all, keep those emails and messages coming! xxxx
