Had a great few days in Tokyo and now feel like I know the city pretty well! Had a great time when we went down to Tokyo bay! It was a fantastic sunny day so we had a great view over to the rainbow bridge and the Tokyo tower! Getting around Tokyo was pretty easy and Jo and me are now experts on the Tokyo subways and I think we must know most of the stops off by heart...the walking between tube stations has helped keep us fit anyway!Found that in Tokyo there...

Travelled from Osaka-Kyoto by train, was a quick journey as the trains out here are very speedy... much better than British rail, hee hee!! We are staying at the Kyoto chepest inn hostel which is exactly what it says! Nice cheapo accomadation...Me and jo staying in bunk beds which are rock hard! Suppose you get what you pay for!!! Have explored Kyoto over the last few days by all possible means of transport...we even managed to blag our way onto buses for free......

Hay everyone..after a 2 day rather unsmooth ferry crossing from Shanghai we have arrived here in Osaka, Japan..yay! Glad to have my feet on the ground again..The ferry over was nicer than we both thought but man did it sway...we had to lay down most of the time so we didnt feel sea sick!
