Hi all, hope your all keeping well,

I have finished my volunteering in Nepal now, had a brill time, can't believe it's finished it has flown past! Going to Thailand on Thursday, about time I got some beach action going on!

Well my last week was quite eventful. It's now the festival period in Nepal called Dashain, at the hospital to celebrate this they had a raffle, quite normal you would think until you consider the prizes: 1st prize was a Goat! 2nd prize a Duck, 3rd 4th and 5th was chickens! There were animals everywhere. The next day at the hospital the goat was slaughter and cooked! Luckily I wasn't there to see the demise of Gertrude the goat as I was out on home visits.

Whilst out on home visits however I the car I was traveling fell into a ditch! No one was really hurt but it took over an hour and lots of help of the villagers to get the car back on the road. I was quite concerned at one point, as for one frightful moment I thought I was going to have to walk! Lol! I had a massive headache later that day but that was the worse of the injuries!

Oh and had a trip to hospital this week too as have been really suffering with D and V, but they tested me and im fine, just got a pathetic stomach! Lol! Well at least I don't have to eat dal baht anymore!

When I left my host families house on Friday I got a present of fruit and Tikka on my head (No not chicken tikka, the red stuff that Hindu's put on there head - see the pics)

In my pics as well I have included some from the walk up the hill to work, now that I never have to do this walk again I can appreciate how nice the walk was and therefore included the pics. I have also included some more of the Kids at the hospital as I don't mention them much so it's proof that I actually do work here (Mum!).

I'm now planning my route round Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand, before I head off to Sydney for crimbo. Really looking forward too seeing somewhere else in the world now. Bring It On.
