Well here we are, first stop Hong Kong! The weather is not all that warm, about 14-18C, and a little bit foggy. The rooms that we are staying in are basic but nice, and a good price (16 quid a night). We have visted 'The Peak', which provides superb views of Hong Kong. You reach it by what seemed to me a vertical tram - agh!! To do this you have to cross to Hong Kong Island via a ferry, it was not to bad a trip but the water was a bit choppy!! Today we are planning to take the ferry trip again and travel to Lantau island to see a monestry and the "Big Buddha" - which should be interesting!! Annie: However to walk anywhere seems to take forever, hopefully (Jo) my legs will look as good as they did in Budapest. Not seen that many good looking men yet (sorry mum), however some chinese men have a certain cuteness. Although i did promise a man in every country(Jennifer) so if needs must.....
