We can't say that we are sorry to leave India, Delhi Airport is the pits and mayhem. What is more we have both managed to arrive in transit at Singapore Airport with Delhi belly. After an early start at 6.00 am we were exhausted by 11.30 am but had seen all we came to see. The Taj Mahal is certainly a wonder to behold. However, we cannot believe that such a magnificent sight is surrounded by such squalor. The traders, touts and beggars were a pain in the backside and our tempers were pushed to the limit. We have have arrived at Agra and the hotel is all we hoped it would be. After a superb flight on Virgin Atlantic we were met with a bit of a culture shock in Delhi through to Agra. We have seen poverty in many places but it seems to go on forever here. They all seem very happy with it and have no great expectations.
