After an early start at 6.00 am we were exhausted by 11.30 am but had seen all we came to see.

The Taj Mahal is certainly a wonder to behold. However, we cannot believe that such a magnificent sight is surrounded by such squalor. The traders, touts and beggars were a pain in the backside and our tempers were pushed to the limit.

Agra Fort was a fort but it is still amazing to see something that was built with such detail when there was no machinery. By 11.30 the heat was getting to us as well so we made a hastie retreat back to the hotel for food and beer - once again our reviver!

Next stop Beijing for our China Adventure.
