Well here we are a Singapore Airport waiting for our flight to Perth. Can't wait and Ray is desperate get fishing rods out. We have thoroughly enjoyed Singapore; what a lovely place. So many cultures and all living it appears quite harmoniously. Didn't see any real poverty areas and everybody is so friendly and helpful. We have arrived in Singapore safely after an excellent flight. We made up for the last Singapore Airlines flight that we last flew on when we were both suffering. Don't think we stopped eating for 3+ hours. At Hong Kong Airport in Singapore Airlines business class lounge waiting for flight to Singapore. Wonderful places these lounges as internet free and you can relax away from the crowds. We have 3 nights in Singapore but must admit we are looking forward to Australia now. Will keep you updated of adventures in Singapore - hope it won't just be shopping as not really our scene. We arrived in Hong Kong later than expected as flight delayed so it was straight to hotel and bed. Superb hotel and they upgraded our room so even better. Our adventure in Guilin started with a cruise along the Li River to Yangshuo. At this time of year 60 boats leave in convoy with approx 100 people in each. The trip includes a Chinese buffet lunch which is prepared in a small kitchen on the back of the boat - not exactly Gordon Ramsay style.
