We have have arrived at Agra and the hotel is all we hoped it would be. After a superb flight on Virgin Atlantic we were met with a bit of a culture shock in Delhi through to Agra. We have seen poverty in many places but it seems to go on forever here. They all seem very happy with it and have no great expectations.

We were exhausted when we arrived at the hotel, we must have got our information wrong somewhere as it was a five hour journey over not the best of roads and the volumes of people, cars, bikes and putt putts was laughable. However, we have now been refreshed with the best curry we probably have ever had and a few beers and off to bed we will go, get some sleep and be ready for our sightseeing tomorrow which starts at 6.00 am.
