just to warn you that the A Key on this keyboard is tempermental so you may have to guess what i was typing occasionally, so no change there....

nywy, we drove into Bangkok again went back to the same guest house as lst time cranked up the air con and did a spot of shopping, we stayed just long enough to see the weekend market and the Grand Palace tht we had been conned out of seeing lst time,

the weekend market was quite something, partly becuse we got the sky train too it which is pretty cool, like the tube only over everyones head and airconditioned, what a pleasant drive. The market itself is massive nd very very sweaty, no air con here, just lots of Fanta in flavours other than orange. do we have that in
England, (theres a red can that is tropical mixed fruits and a Green one that's Lychee, both very nice....) ??

We bought some chopsticks and stuff at the market and then were forced to take in a massive Tesco just to see what they sell. It was ridiculously huge and i gave up when we came to the aisle selling 2 man in flatable dinghys. Jennifer wsa on quite a buzz though nd spent 4 hours in the nuts aisle, tht's not an aisle for the insane although you could be forgiven for making that mistake.

home , cheap food, bed next day grand palace , again very hot, very glitzy palace, fairly impressive but slightly OD'd on [palaces like temples so went back to the room checked out and headed down to Ko Pha ngan. another over night bus, not too bad, then ferry and small boat round to a quieter beach......
