Well, today was fun! We decided to stop in Port Macquarie to get a few things before heading to the National Park and pulled into a little shopping centre just off the main road. Once we got back to the car we were all set to go and….the car wouldn't start! No problem, we'll just phone the RACQ to come sort us out, but wait…no reception. So we had to run around the car park trying to find the one spot that had some signal so that we could make the call. ...

Tomorrow we are leaving South West Rocks, where we have spent the last three days exploring the area and enjoying being back on the road again. Today we took a trip down to Byron Bay for the day to see how the hippies are doing and to get ourselves out of Queensland for the first time in over a year! After spending the last ten days lazing around the beach in Point Plomer, we are back on the road again and heading up to Bundjalung national park for a couple of nights before continuing on to Surfer's Paradise.
