In probably the fastest country visit ever, I crossed over to an island of Myanmar(Burma) for an hour and a half before returning to Thailand. I now have another 30 days stay stamped into my passport for Thailand which I need to stay here through New Year. The officials on both sides know why people come here and they have the easy come-and-go process worked out so it's fast and smooth. So I can now say I was in Myanmar and have the stamps to prove it....but I can't exactly say I got to know the place or its people. Now, back to Thailand.....
