Hello! Last week we stayed at the main family house on the farm and did lots of gardening, cooking and babysitting! All of which was really fun, we got to take Azaan and Shoshannah 2 of the kids out kayaking and for a picnic-which i think we possibly enjoyed more than them! Jessica saw a dolphin swim under her kayak-she got a bit scared-thought it was a man eating shark monster. We went paua diving-well the guys did we just looked after the catch(it was 7 in the morning and i think it would have frozen my bum off) but we did have to climb up and down a vertical cliff to get there...eeek!We went fishing on the big boat with everyone. As you can see from the photos Joanne caught a barracuda-it was huge with scary teeth. We also caught about 6 blue cod between us-was very fun especially as we got to eat the very tasty fish afterwards! We loved living in the middle of nowhere and the family were absoloutely amazing-Raewyn and Tim are a god send! We are in Nelson now, we went out ravin on saturday night with the boys we met on the farm-lots of free pool and even some free beer!(boys kept chatting up the barmaids-fine by us!) Tim is taking us this afternoon to Farewell Spit which is a very beautiful area with some rare birds and sand dunes. After that we are going to work our way down to the fox glacier and then maybe some more farms. We are sad to leave port ligar it was amazing.
