Observations on Kenyan football.
The boys run around screaming hysterically or pissing themselves with laughter especially after a crunching tackle. Many play in bare feet and can still hit a hard leather ball straight through my disorganised defence. At the end of every match ther are always two or three shribbened shoes left on the pitch as the dust settles.......
JGuy band: off to buy a cattleprod as i'm off to the Waitusi Rodeo........
Charlie: we need your sound system services, all the boys are massivly into reggae and i hope to have a party one night.
Winona: i love you lots, have a good new term at school, enjoy being in the top year.
T Guy: if your out there, HAPPY BIRTHDAY
BRYN GUY: HAPPY BIRTHDAY
LOVE TO YOU ALL

Hi guys, I am so excited for you. Good to here all is fine and dandy! Was the chicken from the witch doctor headless?? I am presently in school with a bunch of sixth formers painting the upper common room (they all say hi and wish you well). I must be mad! Yesterday Abi had her 3rd birthday party at Brian and Olly's - weather was great Abi was on top form. Last week she told me ' Janet is my friend' . she won't forget you! It's great that the Campbells and the Witheys are back from their expeditions but school has almost started................ wish I was in Africa!
Luv Alan

Greetings surfers, Glad to see you're doing well and everything's going fine and dandy. No doubt you'll soon be seeing the wildebeest roaming majestically across the plains. Remember to keep an eye out for the lilac brested roller ... quality name! Chickens in the house ... hoodoo voodoo, 7. 20, 1.2 ... ha, the spirit of Billy Bragg is world wide. Went to see Winnie last week in Stover and had a very fine hour with the family. Top kids and top house. Top everything actually. Last day of the holidays and withdrawal symptons as I haven't been in the sea for 8 days. Must try harder. Did do a very fine walk to Charmouth yesterday along the cliff. Very good bit of coast path with excellent landslide devastation. Thorncome Beacon is very steep isn't it? On a par with Kilimanjaro I'd say. Alas, no hippos in the water though. Although some of the tourists were kinda close!
Daisy says howdy, Jill says howdy and Joe says howdy too. Got your postcard. Jill very happy! Hang ten!

Hi Bruv, Hi Sis,
Am still incredibly jealous despite your little problems that keep hanging around Jan!!! It sounds like you're doing an amaaaazing (in the style of stu from BB5!) job out there and should be very proud of yourselves! My only news is that we have finally bought a new car - hurray!!! Very exciting! Its an automatic Citreon Xsara but the best thing is the colour - a very pretty light pearlescent blue (I'm such a girl aren't I?) I've got some work singing in 3 cabarets on my own in the next two weeks so had better go and rehearse for them now. Very scared - I have to talk and everything (Yes, i know that's not usually a problem for me!) Anyway, i also want to know what you are eating and what the place is like you are staying in. Bet its not quite like the Simba lodge or Keekorok where we stayed Jan! Missing you loads. Don't know who to call now when I'm stuck in a traffic jam and Mum, Dad and Kate are busy!!!xxx
Tricia
We enjoyed hearing the details of your activities at the Shelter, Pete. Will look forward to hearing more.
What are you eating? What is the accommodation like?
I've read 'The Reading Group', Janet. A real 'girlie' book, but E.Noble has good insight into a woman's mind - can understand your reaction. Might try to read some of the books they discussed. I bet you're a bit short of reading material!
It felt a bit strange the day you both left. Couldn't settle. Ended up chopping down an eight foot shrub. Felt fine after that!
Eric is fine -enjoying the Olympics.

Unable to write a post card on this site at present, so here is more information. We are both helping out with arts and crafts projects at the shelter and resourcing materials. The plan is to sell the finished items. The jewellry is looking promising. We are improving the irrigation system at the shamba(small farm) and we are looking inot buying their first cow for milk. We have fixed roofs and are creating a cricket pitch. The children will all shortly receive a new pair of shoes. This is one of their greatest possessions. They are so excited. Every one at Plymstock school who contributed to fund raising your money is making a real difference to the children here, thank you very much. Bye from a hot and dusty Naivasha. Pete and Janet
Rup thanks for your message and keep in touch.

Hello! Missing you at work already Janet and I only went in to see the A Level results. It is going to be a long year without you to talk about girly things with! Anyway, back from Vegas, Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam which I loved (all 3). What a place! Also, went to London for a break and tomorrow am off the Wales to see my family. Am nervous about Joe's GCSE results next Thursday but he got his grade 5 guitar result and it was a Merit! So proud of him! On the bus in Vegas this American woman shouted out (really loudly) to Rob "Sir, sir, didn't I see you at the show at Fitzgerald's last night? Weren't you the Elvis impersonator?" We all laughed, the whole bus stared and Rob looked mortified! Thought it may make you laugh! Anyway, this is a great idea as I have just read all about Winnie's holiday and see that the Campbells are HOT in Mexico! Got some good books for you when you get back - maybe you could sell these pages to a publisher? (Did you read Marian Keyes' The Ohter Side of The Story?) Also, were you happy that Nadia won BB? I appreciate my questions won't be answered but save them for when you get back... take good care... Love Lisa xxxx
Winnie
Hi dad and Janet.
had a good holiday.the 2nd campsite was great.I saw a squirrel and there were lots of rabbits and birds.i did lots of body-boarding and swimmming in the sea.
i have been to the gnome reserve which was really cool. There was lots of different ones, funny scenes such as gnomes on the moon, fairs with a rollacoster and merry-go-round that moves.we had to wear hats in the gnome garden and there was a quiz i did in the fairy garden.
we got rather wet on most of the days (particually the first day of the whole holiday) which caused us to get the car stuck in the mud on the last campsite.
we saw the place we walked with N,P,B and R, and also with J,J, and D in Combe Martin. me and joel found a cave with a really long passageway that went way into the cliff. of course i was not allowed to go up it though. It felt like being in a story.
Hope your havin a good time. Sounds great by what you have said on your texts.Miss you lots win xxxxx

Johnny Yoof Head can't believe your on your way. It's gonna be a wild trip and keep us informed of any Blue Velvet activities on your way. Sorry did'nt get in touch before you left, but brain has been a bit frazzled lately, and I just remembered you must have gone cos their was no answer from your house!!
This is very a organised trip guys, compared to my round-the -world trip with Greg. Ours was like Carry on Backpacking.
Anyway enough bull for now, but I will be keeping in touch on this adventure.
Ole Ole biscuit Barrell !!

Habari - This is a message from 2 fellow bloody smelly traveller types who are sitting in a cyber cafe in the deepest darkest sweatiest jungliest mexico, sweating their b******s off before a 13 hour overnight bus ride to Cancun.
Have you read "are you experienced" yet- isnt it ace? Has the flip flop thing happened to you yet?
