HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Enjoy your birthday on Saturday Pete. Are you going to have a reggae party? Have you managed to go climbing yet? Eric, Su, Winona and myself are going out on Saturday to celebrate your birthday, so you had better be having fun!! Looking forward to seeing photos of the jewellery Janet.

Just a quick message, glad to hear that all is well and the trip is going fine. Good to hear that you've got the boys into sport. Cricket sounds a bit interesting, not much chance of having the game called off by rain I suppose, it's always a good excuse if you're losing...in my book anyway. on the football front...a bad defence eh...no change there then.
Good to hear about the wildlife and the chicken, I bet that your one is laying more than our three. They seem to have gone on perpetual strike.
It's Bryns birthday tomorrow and he is a bit hyped up at the moment.
Rowan got christened at the weekend with JG as the godfather
Ma is here for a few days and has read the website and all the messages. Can't wait for the photos, get them posted ASAP.
Take care and see you soon
Oh yes...Michael has just bought a new bike and its fantastic, I had to build it up for him...cos he's a bit thick..but it should get him up Westerham hill no probs. That seems to be his objective at the moment...that and thrashing his mate of course.

Hi Janet & Pete. Well, as Charlie has already said we went back to work today! It was nice to see some people but as usual as soon as I walked in I was bombarded with things that needed to be done. The news from school is that Phil Gardner's baby girl Lucy was born on 6th Aug. The GCSE results were 67% and A Level 96%. Lots of new faces and yours was definitely missing. Hope all is well. Love Lisa xxxx
Charlie
Hi You Guys,
We've been back at school for one day. That was enough! Everybody looked really well and relaxed. Ha, not for long. I can't wait to see some of your photos. Can I send you photos too? I'll write you a proper letter soon. This is just a quickie to say Hi and let you know that we're thinking of you.
Loads of love Charlie and Joa xxxxx PS Pete have you got those boys skanking yet?!

Hello Janet and Pete
Well we are back to school now and very envious of your trip. Can't write much as I've got to type up some registers for 2moro... good last minute planning.
I had a good chat with Susie yesterday who told me the website was now up and running. Phil and I will be keen to keep an eye on your adventures.
Gotta go
much love

Greetings surfers,
Ain't nobody here but us chickens. Hope you're both well ... sounds like it. Get some of those Kenyan boys into the PalaRSe footie team. You need them. Vince Hilaire was surely cockney rhyming slang for big hair. Iain Dowie - handsome looking bloke. Anyway, went to the Endorse It in Dorset festival the other week with Martin. Fine day of cowpunk music in a field in the back of beyond. Peeping Toms played and did a massive old skool punk set. Massively punky. Finished with Banjo Hill, Southern Life and John Henry. Really fine stuff. They do look a bit old and lardy though. Other good bands that I can't remember the name of. Good howdown though and loads of 18 year olds playing Mighty Mighty Bosstones type stuff. Bizarre. Clearly out of touch with middle class yoof. Talking of which ... having trouble telling one IC1 male from another at school. Too many of them. Very difficult. Have diecided to set up a mosque and mini Taj Mahal in corner of library for spiritual culture and Newham vibes.
Hang ten ... good message Edge ... stay sharp to the bottom ... etc. etc. excellent!

It's the first day of the new academic year so spare a thought for those of us stuck in classrooms today. I hope you've been checking out the birds (kyak, fnar!). Look out for White fronted Bee eaters around the open grassy areas - one of the top birds from my trip to Naivasha in '96.
Pete - If you're not up to speed on the football, Palace are having a 'mare and Chelsea remain unbeaten. Bring back Vince Hilaire I say!
Stay sharp to the bottom of the glass....
Paully
Hi guys, sorry no texts, etc, just being the usual rubbish paully. Will be better from now on, promise!!!

Hi Jan & Pete, glad to hear you're having a fab time out there. Sounds a much better way to be spending each day than sitting in front of a PC all day like we are!! Much better weather than we've been having too although today is lovely so am working at home. Just had a lovely couple of weeks in France touring the vineyards - suspension on the car coming home was decidedly low!! Just got to find a place to store it all now. Anyway, take care. Miss you. Love Ness & Darren xx
