#122 - Isle of Arran Blonde (Scottish) - Beer was ok...still better than chemically English beer. Last day of the Comm Games. Started off with some badminton. Then after that Bek went to gymnastics with Naeem and I kept myself busy. After that there was some confusion and a tight time schedule so I missed the wrestling (turns out Bek was in wrestling the whole time...she made fools of us Naeem!) but we found time to have a beer anyway.... Then we finished it all of with athletics at night. Saw Australian gold in the javelin... games record also. Enjoyed singing national anthem and the ceremony. Half of my friends back home in Australia (New Zealanders) will be happy to know a kiwi won gold in shot put...she owned them by over a meter.., she should immigrate to Australia like the rest of you - she would look great in green and gold. Another quarter (Englishman) will be happy to know England won gold in long jump. I guess those quarters are because all the Aussies are in London.
