#132 - Leffe Braun (Belgium) - Well what a day. First of all we have discovered how to eat healthy and on a budget. Wake up late and skip breakfast, kebab for lunch and for dinner corn on the cob with bread and Turkish delight for dessert...total cost 20 Lira (10 AUD per person). #130 - Mariachi (Turkish) - Interesting beer....probably would not have it again. Today we thought we went to the Hagia Irene, however instead we went to the tombs of the sultans. Oops. Then we went to the Istanbul Archeological Museum. It was good, they have so much stuff that some of it is outside along the path as you walk to it. There was quite a bit of construction going on so we couldn't see it all. Bek was fine with this, hehe.

#129 - Miller (American) - I did not want to have a Miller but all the restaurants in Istanbul only offer Efes or Miller and although I like Efes and have drunk it today I needed to drink something different for the blog (it is a tangled web I weave). We did the Topkapi palace today which included the Sultans residence of Harem. Again it was not even a five minute walk our accommodation. Not bad for about $40 a night. #128 - Bomonti (Turkish). Bigfoot and I popped across the road to the Hagia Sofia today. What a building. It is massive outside and inside is just a good. Massive dome, mosaics, old ramp leading to the second floor and great old architecture. It was built around 500ad. Was firstly a church, then Mosque and now it is a tourism money maker. We had a guided tour with a guy as so we skipped the wait in line and only cost about 15aud each. Maybe we should have stayed...
