#119, 120 and 121 - West 4, Tennyson and Guinness (Scottish x 2 and Irish) - Another day of Comm Games. Started off with table tennis. It was qualifying so there were heaps of matches on. Some of the players were awesome. Some of them were not so good and made me think I should get citizenship on some small commonwealth island and compete at Gold Coast 2018 in table tennis. Hehe. Unfortunately from there it was a day off being robbed...not of money but of Gold. Went to boxing where we saw friends (Naeem) daughter (Alexis) loss in a split decision....thought she owned the first round however one judge did not agree. We also saw Jo Joyce- that guy is a giant wrecking ball! Felt bad for the Scottish punching bag in the ring with him..ha. Joyce as a future heavy weight champ? After this we caught up with Alexis, Naeem and her mum (see picture) which was great. Then we headed to men's weightlifting. Aussie was coming first with only one guy to go. The guy lifted it but judges said no lift due to incorrect lifting...so the Aussie had won right? Wrong, they reviewed it and changed the decision... what the? As I said robbed. We were excited to see gold medal ceremony for Australia and felt bad for our Aussie.
