#124 - Ciuc (Romania) - Well we have made it to Transylvania however not all in one piece. Not due to bloodsucking vampires but due to Bek rolling ankle coming off the bus. It now looks like she has two bunion bones on here foot. Such a shame considering from Bucharest to Bran via Brasov we had travelled for about 4 hours and then one we were 500 metres away from accommodation it happened. As a good nurse she is doing the whole RICE thing (is it Run, Ice Skate, Consume Alcohol and exercise?... maybe not). Also when getting the train tickets I tried to book sleeper train to Sofia. However it was not available (I didn't point out to the travel agent that this is why I had emailed to book 4 months ago....she wouldn't have understood anyway). So we have had to scratch Sofia from out plans and will spend an extra 3 nights in Istanbul. I could think of worse places....I believe they call that a first world problem. On the bright side the accommodation is great, it is beautiful, it had a view of the castle and the hosts are great.
