Have now arrived in Pucon, on Lake Villarica in South Chile. Twelve hour journey today but worth the effort. Super accommodation. Lounge, bedroom, kitchenette and en-suite. Going walking tomorrow, fox line the day after and also white water rafting. At least that is the plan. Watch this space!

Arrived safely in Santiago after a four hour flight delay in Auckland - never mind, you win some and lose some. Had a nice chat (?) with the taxi driver on the way from the airport. With his pidgin English and my sparrow Spanish we cobbled a few sentences together. At least I understood him, whether he understood me is doubtful. Tomorrow I meet up with the people with whom I will be travelling for the next three weeks. Now going to eat, probably be Burger King, b...
