Yes we finally get Mum to the markets but find the range a bit disappointing. Lunch options were however very good and we tried some yummy food. It is another showery day and we return to the caravan for the first round of MKR featuring the 2 Aces team.

We leave Tin Can Bay and dodge the forecast showers on the way to Gympie, where we stop for a snack and a walk up and down the hilly main street, which features many historic buildings. Onto the Sunshine Coast where we arrive at Tewantin and set up for the next few days. We drive into Noosa Heads to collect mail and check out the shops along Hastings Street. Our last day in Tin Can Bay and once again we struggle to catch the elusive bream, although Mum landed a flathead just as we were packing up. The local butcher had some great cuts of meat! We all enjoyed a light show with plenty of lightning just on dark, and we received some good rainfall during the night

We drive around the coast to Rainbow Beach where we find plenty of waves for the boogie boards. After lunch we returned to Tin Can Bay where we try again to catch some bream but they were too quick for us (again).

A day relaxing around town trying to catch some fish and enjoying a paddle up Crab Creek in the kayaks. Tin Can Bay has many moored yachts and boats in the surrounding waterways, many of which sit on the sand banks at low tide. No waves or good swimming spots around town.
