Arrived in New Zealand this morning. A little bit late due to a missing passenger and some bad weather over Malaysia. We can certainly tell the difference from HK. It's a lot colder (15 degrees) and there are nowhere near as many skyscrapers. It's also not as well developed as HK, in terms of technology. Examples are not much Internet coverage, teletext and analogue tv! Also, food in the supermarkets seems quite expensive.
Looking forward to doing some of the tourist activities tommorow once we've recovered from travel shock (also known as jet lag!).
