Tuesday 30th August Not much was ever going to happen today – well not planned anyway. We went to the market at the top end of town to get some fish for dinner tonight and ended up with a bag full of fruit and vegetables, wine and suntan cream and focaccia. Monday 29th August In one months’ time we will be home! This morning we went into the town which is about a 15 minute walk along the seafront from our apartment. Sunday 28th August We woke late and had homegrown breakfast. No electric kettle as the Italians don’t use such a thing instead boiled water in a pot just like they do! Saturday 27th August Today we drove from Cap D’Antibes to Levanto a distance of about 300kms and it took us about 4.5 hours. Today was really tunnels and viaducts. We didn’t count the viaducts but we did go through 219 tunnels. The shortest was 75m the longest we think was 3212m. There were lots and lots of them.
