Counting down only 6 weeks and 5 days to go. We are off to Nelson tomorrow to catch up with Sandy, Steve, family and Steven who has come down from Auckland to stay with them. After Nelson we are going to call in to Blenheim, Kaikoura and then on to Hanmer before returning to Christchurch. Then we go to Dunedin for a few days to catch up with Stu and Chris before we leave.
Weather has started to turn with colder mornings and darker nights. Winter is definitely almost upon us. The trees in our subdivision are gorgeous, yellow and gold and leaves all over the ground - nice time of the year!
Tonight we are having a meal with Mike and Nic's family. The girls are coming with us to Nelson which will be lovely. Apparently they are very excited!
