Jan and Heather's travels
Today was our 47th Anniversary and we spent a wonderful day exploring Thunder Bay, Ontario with Jan and Bruce. The first place we went was Kakabeka Falls which were big and beautiful. Then we saw the Terry Fox Statue. Amazing all the money this young man raised for cancer. Very impressive monument. Next we drove to the Amethyst Mine Panorama which is an active working quarry. A long drive and the quarry is very little and mosquitoes were flying about so our stay was very short. Our last stop was at Hoito, a Finnish Restaurant, for some Scandinavian pancakes. Delicious. We left full and very happy with our menu choices. A great way to spend our special day.

Sue Mackenzie Happy Anniversary Heather and Steve - sounds like a great memorable way to celebrate your 47th anniversary! I think mosquitoes are going to be a problem around here this summer as well. So much water from flooding throughout the interior and so much rain around here makes for a perfect storm of mosquitoes.
Lynda Brown A very Happy Anniversary to a great couple.
Judi and Peter Happy Annuversary! It seems like you just started on your adventure and you half way across Canada!
