Last day to explore the St. John's area before heading to catch the ferry back to Nova Scotia. It was a rather cold windy day but that didn't stop us. We turned on the furnace when we got back to the motor home.

Amazing to watch puffins and whales in a wonderful little town called Ellison, just outside of Bonivista. Lots of root cellars to poke around in. Long but great day.

We took the boat tour to see the inland fjords in Western Brook Pond in Gros Morne National Park. Toured the area around St. Anthony for three days. Saw how the Vikings lived when they arrived when we visited L'Anse au Meadows Historic Site. Very interesting. Walked a Nature Trail in St. Anthony and had a delicioc cod lunch. Loving NFLD.
