We braved the weather and got soaking wet but we were on Parliament Hill for the 150th Birthday Celebrations. It was exciting to be part of the crowd. We watched everything on the big screens while being entertained by buskers. The rain stopped and the sun came out during the presentations by Justin Trudeau and Prince Charles. We were entertained by Bono, Buffy Saint Marie plus many others and Shania Twain made an appearance to introduce two young aspiring astronauts. All in all it was a very memorable experience. Wouldn't have missed it!
