Jan and I went to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights today. It is an amazing building that delivers many powerful messages. The architect that designed the building made sure there were no squares as nothing fits into a square box when it comes to Human Rights. The Freedom Tower at the top has an airy feeling which signifies that improving Human Rights is a never ending quest. As we walked through the building we were able to explore Human Rights from eight domains.
Freedom from Racial Discrimination, Rights of Indigenous People, Gender and Sexual Diversity Rights, Freedom from Human Trafficking, Children's Rights, Rights of Persons With Disabilities, Women's Rights and Freedom of Religion and Belief. Thank you to our friends who recommended this attraction as a "must see".
