Well... the fun never stops here! I got to be a forensic anthropologist for the day!!! Phil and I were invited to go to "La Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma" where we got a crash course in examining human remains. It was so cool! I can now tell whether a skeleton is male or female, how old they were when they died, and even in some cases how they died - isn't that exciting... or I am just being a complete geek? Ok... so Naples is a bit of a dump! There's rubbish lying in the street everywhere. Apparently the rubbish collection is terrible! Since the mid-90's the camorra took over the garbage disposal in Campania with disasterous results for the health of the general population as there are no dumping sites and often it is burnt in the streets to avoid detection! Went to see Herculaneum, one of the other cities destroyed by the Vesuvius eruption and much better preserve...
