Well that's it folks... I have no idea where all the time has gone. It's ridiculous!!! I got back from Kendwa on Monday and spent my last week in Stone Town suffering from "24 hour malaria" or so I like to think. Spent a lot of time with the "Work the World" peeps in Mbweni, at the beach, and in Dharma Lounge (my favourite bar in Zanzibar!). So I'm back in Kendwa/Nungwi for the weekend enjoying the beach lifestyle, getting burnt, but certainly not getting ill which is what has happened over the past few days. I had a fever, headache, nausea, muscle cramps, and joint pain - so I (being a hypochondriac) immediately started taking the malaria treatment, which made me feel even worse as it contains quinine which gave me tinnitus and nausea. Hey hey... Not had an update for a while. After another night in Dharma Lounge in Stone Town on Sunday night, preceeded by shisha and a lovely meal at the Silk Route Restaurant, I headed off to Matemwe by dala dala to start my scuba adventure. It didn't get off to a good start as I felt distinctly intimidated by the locals on the dala dala being the only 'mzungu' on it. Ah once again I went to the Dharma Lounge - only this time I didn't leave till 6 in the morning. Got there at about 2 am and raved the night away. Fortunately I'm not nearly as sick as I was yesterday! So I'll definitely be able to make the booze cruise (on a dhow) and party tonight.
