It was Danni's last day in Brisbane and Pip had uni. We went into the CBD and bought a few bits and had a lovely lunch at a popular Japanese restaurant. James nearly missed out on his pork as he took so long looking for a sharpie pen we thought he'd got lost.
Monica, James and I were responsible for getting Danni to the airport so we said fond farewells to Pip and her family and if ever they visit England we will have to put on a great spread to match their fantastic hospitality.
I was really sad to say bye to Danni, wish she could've stayed longer. Trying to convince her to meet us somewhere else on our travels!

We had a short drive to the Gold Coast, stopping at Surfers Paradise and Currumbin when the heavens opened and we found a campsite. The views from tweed heads back across to Surfers Paradise were apocalyptic and James captured some great views on the camera.
