Got back to Bamboo the following day and booked for two nights on Bounty Island which is one of the yasawas and where they filmed love island. James was really ill on the first night but we had a nice room so he could relax while I ate dinner with some Australian girls. I had an embarrassing moment when I was happily snorkelling as a boat came in and I got very told off as I was in the 'boat zone'. The next day James was feeling better for our scuba dive, where it was more amazing fish and a leopard shark this time! The food at bounty wasn't as good as we had in the north and the drinks were expensive but it was a beautiful location and we were just so relieved to have spent most of our time in the more beautiful and less touristy North. Our last evening we got the boat back to bamboo to say goodbye to our Fijian friends and our last taste of Kava.
Fiji was much better than we had anticipated with good food, some amazing experiences, awesome diving and we met great friends in the North. I thought two weeks in Fiji would be plenty of time but when you travel around you realise that Fiji has much more to offer and we would love to go back and spend longer!
